Geoffrey Arbuckle

Geoffrey Arbuckle is a blind author, lyricist, and creator of games. His books range from biblical reflections and practical wisdom to novels about power, conscience, and freedom. Through CANE Enterprises Publishing, he brings his stories, songs, and adventures directly to readers, listeners, and players.

 

In 1989, at age 20, I was a scholarship collegiate athlete when a drunk driver hit me. My neck was broken, I was left quadriplegic, and I was placed on life support.

 

In my experience, the mental health consequences received too little attention then. I struggled for more than three decades, and in 2023 I survived a suicide attempt.

 

I believe both survivals were miracles. Those experiences have shaped my faith and my writing, and taught me to value spiritual sight and spiritual health even more than physical sight and health.
